Since it was already announced to GVEA staff, the board of GVEA, after interviewing the 3 candidates to replace Dwight Nissen on the GVEA board, at their regular board meeting Dec, 18, 2006, the GVEA board is planning to appoint and seat Karen Cedzo, formerly with University Relations at UAF and Cooperative Extension Service. I hope, with Karen's experience in public relations, some of her energies on the board can go toward advocating successfully for two-way communication between members and board.
